Certificates should be available on the night for those that have competed in the various State Championship events throughout the summer season. Certificates for records attained during the summer season will also be distributed.

The contribution of our non-competing volunteers will be recognised at the Presentation Night, and presentations will also be made for the annual SAMA Awards for athletic excellence in our club during 2021, and for the SAMA Achievers Award for the 2021/22 summer season .

You are welcome to bring your own refreshments for personal consumption, but sharing of food is still not recommended under our current COVID-Safe Plan.  Complimentary soft drinks will be provided.

Masks must be worn inside the building  unless eating or drinking, or the person is subject to a government approved exemption or exception.  Completion of a COVID-Safe Check-In (or contact tracing sheet) is also still required.

COVID SAfe Check-In On arrival at the SA Athletics Stadium all participants in SAMA competition, including athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators should scan the QR code displayed at the entrance to the stadium using the mySA GOV app, then if prompted enter their name and phone number to complete the check-in. If unable to check-in this way using the mySA GOV app, details for contact tracing must be provided in writing on the sheet available at the stadium entrance.

SAMA summer Track & Field competition at SA Athletics Stadium will be conducted according to a set of COVID-19 Events Protocols (download here), which describe how SA Masters Athletics will conduct their events safely and in a manner that abides by current COVID-19 restrictions.

SAMA Stance on Mask Wearing

Whilst there is no longer a requirement to wear Face Masks under current SA Government COVID-19 restrictions, all participants at SAMA events still have the option of wearing a mask if they prefer when in close vicinity of other persons, such as at the start/finish line and check-in location or inside a building, and all other times when physical distancing is not practical.  This is a personal choice and should be respected by others.
