Winter Program 2021

Winter Competition to resume from 5 August 2021

To comply with SA Government COVID-19 restrictions, our winter competition had to be suspended temporarily until those restrictions had been eased to again allow outdoor competitive sport.  We are now able to resume our winter season from 5 August.

  • The 20km Walk AMA Championships, 20km Walk SAMA State Championships and SAMA Half Marathon State Championships will go ahead as scheduled on Sunday 8 August 2021. See the Event for details.
  • The SAMA XC State Championships is still scheduled for 14 August 2021.  See the Event for details.
  • The SAMA 15km Walk State Championships have been rescheduled to 28 August 2021.  See the Event for details.

The program for the SA Masters Athletics winter season has been revised accordingly, but may need to be further reviewed subject to any subsequent COVID-19 restrictions.   See the Programs page to download the latest Winter program (updated 31/7/2021).

To comply with SA Government COVID-19 restrictions, competition will be conducted according to our Winter Program Protocol (updated 2/8/2021).  SAMA has now introduced a Policy on Mask Wearing at our events.

Note that SA Masters WILL NOT be providing afternoon tea after our runs and walks until further notice.  However, participants are encouraged to bring their own drink and snack to enjoy post race with others.

Full details of competition each week are available in the Events Calendar  (including venue and course maps).

Results will be available on the Results page as soon as possible after each competition, and any photos will be uploaded to our Facebook Gallery.
