Masters Athletics
SA Masters Athletics (SAMA) caters for men and women athletes aged 30 years and above. The main aim of the Club is to provide an ongoing competition program for mature age athletes in South Australia for people of all athletic abilities.
You will find a varied program of Running, Walking and Field events conducted throughout most of the year. Some events are handicapped which encourages athletes of all abilities. Everyone is welcome to come and try.

ASA 2025/26 Award Winners
The Athletics SA (ASA) Awards were presented at the 2025/26 Athletics SA Awards Night on 29 May 2026 to recognise the achievements of outstanding South Australian athletes and officials.
Congratulations to the SAMA Members who were the winners of ASA Awards:
Sarah Chinner was awarded the Over 35 Women’s Premiership Season Award for her performances during the summer inter-club competition, and George White was awarded the Masters Athlete of the Year Award.
SAMA members were was also Club Premiers for the Summer competition in the Female Over 35 category.
SAMA AGM / Awards Night & Dinner
The SAMA AGM will be held at the Kensington Hotel (23 Regent St, Kensington SA 5068), on Saturday 20 June 2026 at 6pm.
All welcome including non-members*. If unable to attend the AGM in person, financial members are able to complete a Proxy Voting Form.
All reports, documents & information about the business associated with the AGM, including nomination forms for all positions/roles are accessible here.
The AGM will be followed by the SAMA Awards Night and Dinner at the same venue.
Join us for a fun night of Awards and Celebrations**, as we present the 2025-26 SAMA Athletics Awards and announce any new inductees into the SAMA Hall of Fame (bookings essential).

*Guests of SAMA members attending the Awards & Dinner may attend the AGM but cannot vote.
