The annual AMA Winter Throws Championships will be hosted by Tasmanian Masters in 2025-2027.
Includes the HEAVY WEIGHT PENTATHLON – an Australian Championship Event
This is the one event at the Winter Throws which is an Australian Championships Event and Australian Masters Athletics supplies the medals. The HWP officially became an Australian Championship for the Winter Throws in 2023. This is the one event not to miss.
Events
- Saturday – Individual events: hammer, shot put, discus, javelin, weight throw, and single arm weight throw.
- Sunday – AMA Heavy Weight Pentathlon Championships and 56lb and 100lb weights.
- Monday – Throws Pentathlon and super weight..
