Masters Athletics
SA Masters Athletics (SAMA) caters for men and women athletes aged 30 years and above. The main aim of the Club is to provide an ongoing competition program for mature age athletes in South Australia for people of all athletic abilities.
You will find a varied program of Running, Walking and Field events conducted throughout most of the year. Some events are handicapped which encourages athletes of all abilities. Everyone is welcome to come and try.

New SAMA Life Member – Doug Smart
Congratulations to Doug Smart who was awarded Life Membership of SAMA at the AGM on Saturday 18 June.
Doug’s name will be added to the Life Members plaque attached to the side of our equipment trolley at the stadium – ‘The Mule’.

AMA Hall of Fame Inductee – George White
Congratulations to SAMA Life Member George White who has been inducted into the Australian Masters Athletics Hall of Fame.
At the AMA Awards held on 3 April 2022 in Brisbane, George was announced as the most recent inductee to this elite group in recognition of his outstanding service to Masters athletics in Australia and the Oceania region, both as an administrator and as a competitor over a period exceeding 21 years. AMA Standards Certificates
Australian Masters Athletics (AMA) has introduced the AMA Standards Certificate as a way to recognise the good performances of Australian Masters athletes, achieved outside of national championships. See the Membership page for more details.
