Masters Race

Kick off 2027 with purpose — and pace! This year, the organisers are again teaming up with SA Masters Athletics to offer special categories for Over 35 and Over 55 athletes, with prizes to be won.

Whether you’re chasing a time, setting a goal, or simply enjoying the thrill of racing around Adelaide’s most iconic loop — this is the event for you. It’s a celebration of experience, fitness, and community.

When entering, be sure to select ‘Yes’ to the Masters Category if you’d like to compete in the dedicated Masters race. Age groups beyond that will be determined by date of birth. If you’d prefer to race in the Open waves based on seed time, you’re welcome to select Open instead, but will not be eligible for Masters prizes.

The Course

The Uni Loop – Adelaide’s iconic Uni Loop sits just north of the River Torrens, surrounding Park 10 — a popular training ground for elite athletes, fun runners, and university students alike. It’s fast, flat, and scenic — the perfect spot to test yourself over an uninterrupted 2.2 kilometre loop.

The Uni Loop run is a ‘frypan-shaped’ loop of 2.2km around Warnpangga (Park 10), incorporating both flat straights and gentle bends.
