DESCRIPTION:AMA Postal 10km Road Championships 2026 \nAthletes are required to pay the $10 AMA registration fee once only\, but it\nmust be paid prior to putting through any results.\nEvery member wanting to be included in the Championship will need to\nbe a registered member of a Masters Athletics Association. Up to two\nraces can be nominated when registering. Race performances will only\nbe accepted from events in which the competitor has registered\nbeforehand.\nAthletes can compete in as many of the approved 10k road run events\nlisted on the AMA website\, but only submit their best result to the advised\nManager of the AMA Postal 10k Run Championships via the form listed\nAMA POSTAL 10k Road Run Championships Results Submission Form\nThe listed events for this championship take place from February 2026 to\nOctober 2026. The HWP officially became an Australian Championship  for the Winter Throws in 2023. DESCRIPTION:ASA Winter Season 2026 – Ekiden Relays\nThe first relay event of the ASA 2026 Winter season is at Bonython Park starting at 9.00am. \nThe Ekiden Relay is a true team event! Six members running varying distances to complete either a full or half marathon. \nEkiden (駅伝) is a Japanese term which refers to a long-distance relay running race\, typically conducted on roads. \nMARATHON: 6.195km + 4km + 10km + 8km + 6km + 8km \nHALF MARATHON:3.097km + 2km + 6k + 4km + 2km + 4km \nTo be eligible for team victory\, a club must have at least two male or two females within their team. \nFor full details see Winter Season 2026 – Ekiden Relays – Athletics SA \nRegistration\nContact SAMA if interested in  entering a team.  It is the responsibility of the entrants to organise the team\, as well as the required Team Recorders. \nClubs need to pre-register their teams by midnight on the Thursday prior to the event\, and submit final teams and names on the day. DESCRIPTION:Week 4 of SAMA winter competition to be held at Adelaide Harriers Clubrooms (Park 20)\, Peacock Road\, Adelaide including the following events: \nRuns – 1.00pm 10km\, 8km\, 6km\, 4km & 2km \nWalks – 15km SAMA Walk State Championships at 1.00pm.  There will be SAMA Championships for both Race Walkers and Club Walkers.Also 10km\, 8km\, 6km\, 4km and 2km at 1.00pm. \nThe Winter Championships are for all SAMA members\, and we encourage you to enter. DESCRIPTION:Week 5 of SAMA winter competition to be held at Adelaide Harriers Clubrooms (Park 20)\, Peacock Road\, Adelaide including the following events: \nWalks – SAMA 20km Walk / Half-Marathon Walk State Championships at 10.00am.  There will be SAMA Championships for both Race Walkers and Club Walkers.Other distances on offer – 10km\, 8km\, 6km\, 4km & 2km (all scratch) at 10.00am. \nRuns – SAMA Half-Marathon State Championships at 10.00am.Other distances on offer – 10km\, 8km\, 6km\, 4km & 2km (all scratch) at 10.00am. \nThe SAMA Half-Marathon Race Walk Championships on Sunday 9 August will constitute one South Australian race eligible for the 2026 AMA Postal Half Marathon Racewalking Championships (see below for entry information).The other SA race eligible for the AMA Championships is the ASA State Road Walk Championships on 4th July 2026. \nEntry Information\nThe SAMA Winter Championships are for all members\, and we encourage you to enter.
