TEAMS MULTI-EVENT

This is an opportunity for teams to get involved with the multi-event action by entering teams to compete in the multi-events in a relay-style format! Please note that this is NOT a Championship event.

What is it?

The Team Multi competition is an opportunity for a group of athletes to compete in the multi-events, without having to compete in each individual discipline.

Teams of between 2 – 5 athletes can get together to compete in a Pentathlon in one of two age categories – Junior (U14, U16 & U18) or Senior (Open & O35). Mixed age group teams are allowed, and the team will be placed in the age group of the oldest athlete. There will be Male and Female categories and mixed teams can compete in the Male category.

Teams are not required to come from the same club, so feel free to make up a team from your friend’s and training groups.

Registration is only $25 per team (regardless of team numbers) and to register nominate a team Captain and a team name and click the link below to register for this event. We will be in contact once registrations close to get further information about your team members, seed times/distances etc.

COVID-Safe Requirements

From 15 April 2022 at sporting venues (indoors or outdoors) there is no longer a legal requirement to wear Face Masks, use Contact Tracing such as QR-code Check-In, or have a COVID Marshal present.

However, it is recommended that all participants, including athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators continue to follow health advice and maintain social distancing and wash or sanitise their hands regularly.

The Board of the Athletic Association of South Australia has made the decision to require double COVID-19 vaccination for anyone aged 12 years and over who attends the venue during an Athletics SA competition. Refer to Covid-19 Vaccination | Athletics SA for details.
