Clause 10(1) The financial year of SAMA is from 1st April to 30th March.

     Proposed change. The financial year of SAMA is from 1st April to 31st March.

     Reason for change, To correct the date.

Clause 16(1) first sentence. The SAMA uniform will be determined by the Committee only after extensive consultation with members but its colours are a top in red, royal blue and gold, with shorts of navy blue.

     Reason for change. To reflect the addition of white in our current uniform

Clause 16(2) Any changes to the SAMA uniform will be given a period of two years for implementation.

     Proposed change. The current uniform and the immediately preceding uniform are valid uniforms for SAMA members;

     Reason for change. To ensure members are not penalised by having to purchase a new uniform within a 2 year period.

New Clause 10(4) At the end of each financial year the accounts of SAMA shall be examined by a suitably qualified auditor approved by the committee. This auditor shall report to the committee who will present the report together with SAMA’s accounts to the AGM.

     Reason for inclusion. A recommendation of last years auditor.

Any further proposed changes to the constitution must be lodged in accordance with the constitution, signed by 5
